Wednesday is the day for an outfit post and we all know how obsessed I am with stripes. I have so many outfits in my wardrobe that feature this trend and I don’t plan on stopping so apologies in advance for any more outfits coming your way that feature stripes. Maybe I should just do it constantly until I’m done with it 🙂
Stripes as a trend is one of the hottest Spring Sumer 2015 styles and stripes ruled many catwalks including influential designers such as Louis Vuitton and Balmain. Balmain who I love oh so much used stripes in varying thickness; quite a lot of horizontal multi-coloured lines were present in their creations. The bold stripes and the electric blue colour dominated the collection, so when I came across this Topshop skirt it clicked that it would be a great fit with the Balmain logo T-shirt that I got a while back from SheInside. I got quite a few pieces in the Topshop sale and I’m excited to share more of these pieces with you. I paired it all with this gorgeous pair of shoes from Zara.
Basically stripes can be worn with anything and everything and with all the coolest designers and fashion influencers embracing the trend, it makes it so much easier to play with and style with some simple yet fashionable pieces such as this Balmain logo T-shirt. Also, we all know that vertical stripes accentuate a lean figure – having said this considering there are no rules when it comes to stripes this season, more is more when it comes to stripes so I say feel free to play with all colours and shapes. Fashion after all is what we use to express our creative side.
Have a good rest of the week everyone.
