There are so many cool Shoreditch Bars you can take your date to, as a matter of fact, you are pretty much spoiled for choice when it comes to it. In the last series from my collaboration with Point A Hotels, I decided to pick my favourite Shoreditch bars that I love to go on a date. We have also filmed a video taking you to all of my favourite spots so it would be great if you could watch it to get a full overview đŸ™‚
Most of Shoreditch bars are really quirky and deepened which makes it really authentic, especially if you are trying to impress your date. Shoreditch is where I mainly go out when I do so I wanted to share a few other suggestions that you can do if you decide to visit East London.
Red Lion has been one of my favourite pubs in Shoreditch for quite some time. I absolutely love the low key vibe here and the crowd that comes with it. I really love coming to the Red Lion for a chilled first date as their roof top is so cool and it gives a relaxing atmosphere for a date. I know that dating can be so daunting so finding out good locations that can take some pressure off two people dating, is always a plus. Red Lion is a perfect spot for a relaxed low-key date in Shoreditch and I recommend it especially if you like pubs with rooftops.
Happiness Forgets is one of my favourite hidden Shoreditch bars. It’s located right next to the Zigfrid von Underbelly and it’s quite easy to miss if you don’t pay attentions. It’s the cutest low-lit basement bar serving the most delicious cocktails. I really love their cocktails and service and this is why Happiness Forgets is one of my favourite Shoreditch bars. It’s particularly perfect for a date because of it’s interior and atmosphere so I definitely recommend it. I’ve added it as the second bar as I recommend it for the second or the third date as its quite romantic unless you are dating someone whom you have been friends for some time.
Hawksmoor Bar is a really cool spot for a date. It’s also quite romantic with dimmed lights and cosy atmosphere and delicious cocktails. Hawksmoor has a great reputation for their steaks, however, Hawksmoor bar is a great option if you are looking for to start your date with drinks and perhaps finish with a dinner. I really like it here as it’s such a cute speakeasy cocktail which is not only perfect for a date but also for drinks with your friends. They have really large booths which can seat large groups so if you are on a girls night out, Hawksmoor is a good place to start.
