Brunching at Hoxton Holborn Hubbard & Bell

Hoxton Holborn is one of the places I like to pop to for brunch when I find myself in Central London. Hoxton Hotel, on the other hand, is where I love to grab dinner when in Shoreditch. Without confusing you much longer, this post is about the Hubbard & Bell, which is an all-day day Italian Style menu establishment at the Hoxton Holborn with a bakery and a mean Avo toast.

Hoxton Hotels are part of a Soho House group so you know you are going to mingle alongside the trendy crowds. I popped over during the LFW as I was shooting and needed some food in between shows and shoots! Stressful I know 🙂

It was a rather busy Saturday afternoon so I felt little awkward taking pictures of the place. Sometimes people look at you weird like you are taking their picture so if its overly busy, I’d rather not but you can see their google gallery here. It’s honestly like a swarm of people brunching, socializing and working too. I really like that it feels comfortable to go to Hoxton Holborn alone with a laptop and work away with a yummy Soho House Bloody Merry. We did feel quite peckish and opted for Crab on Toast with sourdough, poached egg, and kimchee.

We did feel quite peckish and opted for Crab on Toast with sourdough, poached egg, avocado, and kimchi. It was pretty delicious, the only thing I partially disliked is that the egg was too runny. Although this is entirely my fault as I should have specified that I don’t like the egg runny. I had a glass of bubbly to start with, which in my opinion is always a good idea.

To finish our brunch we ordered House Brew for Two as coffee is what keeps you going during the LFW. We also opted for a Nutella pastry from the bakery.

All in all Hoxton Holborn is a great spot for a nice lively brunch in central London. The atmosphere was quite buzzy and service attentive. We didn’t need to book a table to get one, however, I do recommend you do in order to get a good spot. Saturday brunch price is in the range of £9 to £15 which is decent for the Central London and you can see the full menu here.

What do you usually order on a Saturday brunch?
