Dinner with a View at the Coppa Club Tower Bridge

Happy Wednesday! We made it half way through the week and I hope work isn’t too crazy for you, however, if it is I wanted to share a perfect location for a mid-week drink and dinner in Tower Bridge. That is if you are in London. I work quite near Tower Bridge so it was such a good idea to visit the Coppa Club, have a dinner and drinks with the most beautiful views of the river, Tower Bridge, Shard and the London Bridge.

Coppa Club Tower Bridge offers a menu with the food dominating Italian mixed with British-influenced dishes. The menu contains a nice selection of sharing dishes, pizzas, and pasta as well as well a few dishes to satisfy those with the carnivore side, like me. I was little sceptical at first after seeing how busy the bar was especially since it was a sunny day, however, service was so attentive and quick, we really felt looked after.

After being seated our waitress came over with the menu, we took a little while to order as I tend to talk a lot so it’s always nice to catch up with friends after sitting down. We started with sparkling water which is complimentary as well as the still and bottle of Chateau Minuty Rose from Cotes du Provence.

Food wise to start, I opted for Crispy Fried Squid with sriracha mayo, lemon & paprika and Nancy had Italian Meatballs in spicy tomato sauce, gremolata & Parmesan. You guys know that I love a good steak and when I saw that their Rib Eye comes with truffle cream, I had to have it, however, Nancy decided to go for a complete opposite of Spinach, Feta, and red onion Pastilla, we added Tomatoes & Basil salad and Skinny Fries to come on the side. We also had Fresh Fruit Plate and a Flourless Almond Chocolate Cake which was a perfect end to our dinner.

The food was quite delicious and served on the cutest blue china made especially for the Coppa Club in Portugal. Service was super quick and attentive so no complaints there. The only thing I’d say is that my steak was slightly overcooked as I ordered medium rare, however, I received a more of a medium to well but regardless it was really delicious.

Despite the terrace being super busy, the view of Tower Bridge made it totally worth it. Also, Coppa Club wasn’t too touristy and I definitely recommend it for a lively drink or dinner after work especially if you are into sitting next to the water. Coppa also offers breakfast and brunch if you prefer to visit the area in morning or afternoons. Ealy evening is the best time to visit as you will be able to see London in the evening when all the pretty lights are switched on.

Have a great rest of the week loves

Tania
