Dokke is one of the cutest new openings in London. Dokke is located at St Katharine Docks it offers a great opportunity to try something a little different and unique. Its open plan setting is very inviting and I’m sure you will enjoy every minute of it.
You guys know how much I love brunching and my favourite thing about Dokke is that their menu takes inspiration from different travels. All dishes are so delicious and freshly prepared on the premises. They don’t store any food overnight and as the head chef Neil Wager prefers to use their locally sourced ingredients on the day. We arrived around midday on a Saturday afternoon feeling slightly malnourished. We were after a lot of food but not the kind that will make you sleepy and sluggish afterwards.
At first, we sat outside as the Dokke has a really nice terrace, however, the weather seemed little temperamental so we thought it may be best to sit inside. The restaurant is really cute with and brights with large windows to one side if you like to get a good seat to people watch. The view of the waterfront makes it quite a perfect spot to get some work done or simply relax.
Food wise Dokke has a really quirky menu that includes Egg Clouds and Prawn and Squid Pancakes. In case you are not aware, the Egg Cloud is your new Avocado on Toast and its made by separating the egg whites from the yolk. Once separated egg whites are whisked until stiff and then baked until it looks like a cloud, the yolk is placed in the middle during this process. Their food plate had dragon fruit which I absolutely love. It came out on the plate made especially for Dokke in Sri Lanka and I thought that that was a really cool touch.
We really enjoyed the food as well as the setting at the Dokke and I would really recommend you guys check it out if you find yourself in the area. You can have a look at the menu HERE>>>
I hope you guys enjoyed this post.
