Dress for a Cause in aid of The Salvation Army

I’m so happy to work on this cool project with ST Studio in aid of The Salvation Army Charity and show you the way you how to style and take one of their AW16 dresses from the whole day in the office until the party in the evening. With the party season right at our doorstep, us working girls need to stock up on the dresses that are appropriate for both the day and night. Being a busy career woman in London comes with many multi-tasking skills and dressing is one of them.

ST Studio is supporting the Salvation Army Charity and after my trip to San Francisco, I realised that homelessness is such a big problem over there, that we should do all we can to help and prevent it in our own City. ST Studio is asking all of you lovely ladies of London to return and hand in a dress that you no longer wear to their main store in Carnaby Street and in return receive 30% off a brand new ST studio dress of your choice. All donated dresses will be given to the Salvation Army who has 700 centres all over the UK. This programme helps provide the service with people within the Salvation Army community which don’t only include homeless but also domestic abuse victims. I say with the festive season arriving we should do all we can to help those less fortunate than us.

I picked this gorgeous stretch knit fish tail midi bodycon dress which I think can be perfect to wear with flats for a day in the office and take it out to a dinner party in the evening just by simply adding the pair of heels. The colour of the dress allows you to match it with various shoes and I opted for black heels just to add contrast, however, you can play with your accessories as you wish. The dress is so flattering and soft that I really felt super comfortable wearing it all day. I matched with my Valentino bag and gold pleated watch and bracelet.

ST Studio have so many cute dresses available starting from £70 that are perfect for the party season, I have my eye on their black velvet strap dress and I cant wait to swap one in for another. It was such a hard choice between the two but I decided to opt in for a little colour.

So if you are in London, pop into ST studio store on Carnaby Street and clear out your wardrobe and help us support he ‘Dress for a Cause’
the campaign in aid of The Salvation Army.

What do you guys think of my choice? Isn’t this dress so perfect for a day to night party dressing?

This dress really falls beautiful on you. You know how to dress so your body form stands out. Good choice!! I admire women that can dress such as they were born with their clothes on. Working for an events promotion company in London, where fashion events are a popular category I often attend unique fashion events to gain inspiration. Finding your blog post made it easier for me!
