Elemis Lime and Ginger Salt Glow

Hey guys,

It’s Fridayyy oh how I love Fridays. Apart from sharing a beauty post on Fridays, I also like to Instagram motivational quotes, so if you don’t follow me on Instagram, please do as I have so many exciting things coming up towards the end of this month and all the way through to the end of September.

So as I’m sure many of you are away on holiday at the moment or just planning to enjoy the August heat  somewhere exotic, and with that there come certain responsibilities such as making your skin as beautiful as possible and ready to take in the larger amounts of vitamin D. Therefore I decided to review and recommend this beautiful Elemis Lime and Ginger Salt Glow as a favourite scrub.

Having soft radiant skin should be a priority however exfoliating too much can agitate your skin and cause it to overproduce sebum and we all need to avoid this as a build up of bacteria can cause spots and no one wants that. Moving away from the gritty part, we are encouraged to exfoliate our skin once a week  to boost the skins glow and healthiness. On the other hand, if you use a buffer the other achievable benefit is increased circulation which decreases cellulite cells (hopefully at least).

My exfoliator of choice that I have been indulging in lately is this gorgeous Elemis Lime and Ginger Salt Glow scrub from their Body Exotics range. Elemis Lime and Ginger Salt Glow is not only meant to soften and exfoliate your skin but its also great for stimulating circulation and toning. It also contains blend of bergamot, coconut and sweet almond oils which makes it really soft to apply on the skin. I have a sensitive skin prone to breakouts and this really helps me clear out any bacteria build up, especially around my back and shoulders.

You are supposed to apply it onto the wet skin in circular motion with a mitt but you can also just use your hands. To kick my exfoliating routine up a notch I have invested in the cactus mitt from the Body Shop that scrubs away all the dead skin cells and leaves my skin quite red which is a good sign because this signals that your circulation has increased and this is what we need to fight that dreadful cellulite.

This product is little pricy however if you are looking to get spa quality treatment at home then I would definitely recommend getting Elemis Lime and Ginger Salt Glow as I’m sure you will like it as much as I do.

Have a good weekend everyone.
