Le Jardin Secret and a sunset at The Café Arabe Marrakech

Le Jardin Secret is one of the must-see places when visiting Marrakech. As a matter of fact to taking a break from hustle and bustle of surrounding souks, I highly recommend a dinner at sunset at Café Arabe after a stroll through the Le Jardin Secret or The Secret Garden as we like to call it.

Le Jardin Secret is not the only cool garden as Marrakech is quite well known for being a city of Gardens, a peaceful sanctuary of plants tucked away most of the time in a riad or unassuming places. We were on a look out for a cool rooftop to have our dinner at sunset as Marrakech has one of the nicest sunsets and the most beautiful skies, I have ever seen. Little did we know that we would stumble upon Le Jardin Secret in the middle of the souk, conveniently positioned right across the Café Arabe on Rue Mouassine in the Marrakech medina. We wondered around the garden for a bit catching the late afternoon sun and taking a bunch of cool shots that I shared on my Instagram, We had a such a lovely break from the craziness of the souks before we heard our bellies rumble sending us a signal that is time for dinner.

Café Arabe is a perfect place is you are looking for a traditional setting with a modern twist. They offer Moroccan and Italian cuisine and serve one of the nicest wines, I tried in a long time. By the wat, Moroccan wine is absolutely amazing so I recommend you give it a try. The atmosphere of Café Arabe is what we loved most as having sat on their balcony waiting for the sun to set, really made me content. We had a two-course meal as desserts sounded too good to pass on washing it all done with a bottle red wine.

We had a lovely day exploring Marrakech and Le Jardin Secret and a dinner at Café Arabe was really a highlight of our day.
