San Diego Hotels are abundant but we were looking for something that is right on the beach but boutique at the same time. I was so fortunate to come across Tower 23 which exceeded my expectations. I was so happy to have booked here and as you can tell, I went little crazy with photographing it.
Tower 23 is positioned conveniently right between La Jolla and downtown San Diego, on the Pacific Beach. I have to say that after 4 days in San Francisco and a 14-hour drive down the Pacific Highway arriving at the Tower 23 and being welcomed by the sound of the ocean, was almost the best feeling in the world. Needless to say that we slept so well that night.
Our room and we had a Sanctuary Suite, looked right over the Pacific Beach. The glass panels make the hotel look so chic and stand out, should you find yourself looking from the outside.
The room was extremely spacious, with a large working stattion, adjacent bathroom, and even a jacuzzi. San Diego was definitely one the top places we visited. We walked along the beaches, watched the sunset and enjoyed a cocktail or two at the JRDN bar and restaurants. I also hear that they delicious modern Californian cuisine too.
We had our own balcony with the best views of the Pacific Beach and access to a private patio which was the best location to see the sunset over the Pacific Beach. The rooftop lounge had a fire pit making the hotel such a romantic spot and perfect place for couples to book an escape.
Tower 23 Hotel San Diego set in the most beautiful Pacific Beach will make you want to live in San Diego. Waking up to the sound of the ocean, watching surfers chase the morning waves and sunshine made me feel so content and grateful to have done this trip and stayed at the Tower 23.
Have you ever visited San Diego and if so, where did you stay?
