The Secret Garden Library at the Brown’s Hotel

When I heard that Brown’s Hotel dresses their library with flowers, I thought to myself, I have to go and cover it on the blog.  So we booked a late afternoon lunch and cocktails both served with edible flowers. I mean it can get better than that.

Walking into The Secret Garden Library at the Brown’s hotel felt like being in the middle of the English countryside. The room was filled wit lilacs, peonies and English county roses making a perfect setting for a date. The Brown’s hotel is really fancy and beautiful flowers are so pretty to surround yourself with. Since we spent the entire day shooting, it was good to start with a delicious cocktail. I opted for Cherry in Bubble, which is Belvedere Vodka stirred with rooibos syrup, maraschino, yuzu juice and champagne. The glass is sprayed with gold dust. My friend opted for Oriental Blossom a Monkey 47 gin shaken with cranberry juice, lime juice, mint leaves and a Fruity Dram made of Glenmorangie The Original shaken with Chambord, pineapple juice, lemon juice, goji and coconut syrup.

Food wise we ordered a Berkley farm burrata With wild spring herbs and Tonnix olive oil and Scallops served with cucumber flowers and wild fennel. The food was extremely delicious and service so friendly. We decided to stay later into the evening chatting away and sipping on yummy cocktails. I really thing the Brown’s hotel is one of the nicest places and should be visited at least for a special occasion.

I also hear that they have an amazing Afternoon Tea which is on my to-do list in the upcoming months. I have so many cool things planned that I can’t be more excited about life right now. This starts with my visit to LA this Saturday. I will be shooting with the most amazing photographers so I can’t wait to share my content with you guys.

Have you ever been to the Brown’s Hotel in Mayfair and what are your thoughts on edible flowers?
