Versace SS16 Inspired Look

Happy Monday loves. The first day of Spring happened yesterday which made me really happy, however, the weather in London is still pretty cold unfortunately, meaning that we need to keep spring/summer clothes on hold for just a little longer. Whilst I wait for the sunshine, this week I thought to share a dinner date type of a look inspired by Versace Spring 2016 collection.

I really like how Donatella Versace took her standard sexy and girly clothes to another level by applying a lot of khaki, violet and green camouflage tones to the entire collection. Versace always focuses on brining your sexy out with their gorgeous dresses however, I thought this collection is slightly different as it has more edge to it. I’d love to be able to afford the latest Versace dress but unfortunately that’s still not the case but thankfully high street is full of amazing shops featuring catwalk inspired fashion pieces, making it easier to style when you are feeling inspired.

I decided to stick to my favorite midi dress length purely because is still quite cold and I’m not ready to reveal (I have been majorly slacking on the gym front). Never mind summer is almost here and there will be a plenty of time to wear skimpier outfits as days full of the sunshine approach us.

The jacket I’m wearing is from Pull& Bear who by the way have some great green camouflage prints and khaki colored options available in stores. The high neck long sleeve midi length dress is also from Pull&Bear. I added fishnets in black for an extra edge and black pointy Asos Payton heels and I completed the look with my good old Chanel bag.

This look is perfect if you are going for a dinner and a few drinks and aren’t looking to bear it all. I feel ever since I stopped clubbing I find conservative clothes just that little more comfortable to wear on a night out.

What do you like to wear when you go out for dinner and drinks? Let me know in the comments below.
