The weekend is to look stylish but to feel cosy as we all need a break from the week of dressing up for work. Finding outfits that are very comfortable and cosy yet stylish and on trend is the key to feeling good when you are out and about on weekends.
My weekend wardrobe consists of cosy oversized sweaters, comfy pairs of jeans, shorts, and skirts. Don’t get me wrong, I do wear dresses on a special weekend especially if it involves a shoot but I’m the happiest in my cosy jumper. This season trend is all about puffy and oversized sleeves and I got this cute sweater from H&M. I really like it because aside from it being very soft, you can also wear it off the shoulder. I decided to pair it up with a skirt that has military style buttons at the front. I also added my Chanel Slingbacks and WOC to try and colour coordinate.
We are still lucky with the weather in London, the last weekend was pretty nice and warm so I can go tights free. It’s, however, getting darker so its hard to stay motivated. I get a serious case of SAD and I’m honestly not looking forward to spending a winter in England. I’m however excited to wear more sweaters, layers and coats as well as boots. I purchased a few pairs of sock boots so I can’t wait for them to arrive so I can style and wear.
Either way, this look is perfect to wear to brunch or shopping with your girls. If the weather is colder you can always add a pair of tights and a jacket and voila, you are ready for Autumn.
What are your favourite things about the season change? Also, what is your go to outfit for the long weekend days?
