My favourite thing to do with Dad on Father’s Day

Father’s Day is upon us and I wanted to share my favourite thing to do with Dad leading up to this special occasion. I think it’s so lovely that we have a day to celebrate our Fathers and treat them to a gift and some quality time. Sadly, as I travel so much and I’m all over the world, I don’t get to spend a lot of time with my parents. However, on special occasions like this, I always make sure my Dad receives a treat from me.

When it comes to my favourite thing to do with Dad, most of the time I opt for a good old traditional pub lunch, a card and a gift. I’m sure every Dad is content with spending good quality time alone with their kids but nothing feels as good as treating them on this special occasion. Catching up and sharing my adventures over lunch always ends up being so fun and it fills my soul with joy and happiness. I love gifting my family and treating them to nice experiences as it’s such a great bonding time especially when it gets so busy in everyday life.

Haig Club has been my go-to gift for a couple of years now and my Dad absolutely loves it. This year I opted for the Clubman to complete his collection – the bottle is so chic that I didn’t even want to wrap it! My dad doesn’t drink that much – he likes quality over quantity – so I love giving him Haig Club Clubman. Clubman can be enjoyed on the rocks or mixed in a cocktail as its vanilla, butterscotch and sweet toffee flavour is smooth on the palate. I find it refreshing when mixed with cola too, and it provides a delicious addition to accompany your lunch.

We spent a few hours feasting and chatting away followed by a long walk, I couldn’t feel more grateful to do this with my Dad on this special occasion.

What are your plans? How do you spend quality time with your dad on Father’s Day?
