What to Wear: From Desk To Dinner

What to wear is one of those questions that I ask myself every single day. I’m sure it must be the same for you especially if you are a working woman who has to dress for few occasions in a day. December is one of the busiest months for the after work activities so coming up with what to wear to these occasions in one outfit can be a task.

I love following trends and buying new clothes because I don’t always like being on the safe side when it comes to deciding what to wear. I look pulled a few items from Zalando to share my take on what to wear from desk to dinner. I decided to go all in with the Victorian lace blouse by Navy London and crochet detailed A-line skirt  by Lost Ink as it’s super elegant and at the same time chic but also both office and restaurant appropriate. I added a pair of patent leather ankle boots by Steve Madden and my Gucci bag. I thought black and white is the most appropriate for this occasion and I have added a pop of red with my bag and also a lipstick which can be worn throughout the day or added in the evening if your office is too corporate.

When it comes to deciding what to wear to work on a daily basis, I tend to go quite casual but this is because I work in digital marketing and my company allows it. However, I love having occasions after work to dress for and most of the time I will go all in. Clothes are such a great way to express your personality and adapting it to an occasion is such a cool way to be creative. I tend to keep it quite simple and elegant with a little edge just to be on the safe side as when it comes to work, this always should be the case.
