Over the knee boots are one of those items that we gladly pull out of our wardrobes as soon as we see the first signs of fall. I mean it’s such a statement piece and a must have if you are a girl who loves fashion.
Stuart Weitzman is the king od over the knee boots with Lowland being the favorite choice amongst fellow bloggers. I mean they look amazing on, they make your legs appear slimmer and they go with pretty much half of your wardrobe. I think potentially a lot of people would argue with me regarding this statement but if you really think about it, you can pair them with jeans, skirts, dresses and even oversized sweatshirts thanks to Kardashians.
Doesn’t matter whether you are curvy, petite or tall the over the knee boots will suit you. The only question is how would you like to style them. Being a girl with curves these are my go to choice of footwear if I want to dress to impress (read date ☺) or if I need a little something to bring my outfit the next level and make me feel good about myself. Trust me over the knee boots have this power and should definitely be invested in.
With somewhat of a Gucci addiction lately, I didn’t want to splash £600 on a pair of Stuart Weitzman boots. Even though I did and had to convince myself to return them, I managed to find an almost identical pair for £80 ish from River Island. The only difference is the quality of suede or actually as a matter of fact the River Island pair actually isn’t made out of suede but they look so good for the price. Nonetheless, they look really good on and it will really depend on your budget and a priority. If you are like me and prefer a new Gucci bag then I suggest you go for a cheaper version too.
Regarding this look, I wanted to exude tough girl vibes with the leather skirt and boots adding a touch of modern romance with my casual but cool pink ruffles sweatshirt. Thanks to the ruffled detailing, this sweatshirt can be worn both with heels and trainers. As you can tell I opted for heels. I absolutely love the PU leather skirt as it oozes cool.
However, if you are not into wearing over the knee boots with skirts, then I suggest you pair them with a pair of dark denim in the same shade and wear with buggier tops or sweatshirt for a more slimming appearance. Otherwise, opt for a body with jeans if you would like to achieve complete opposite and exaggerate your curves. You can also pair this combo with a shirt or a blouse that falls below the waist paired with a coat or a lather jacket perched on your shoulders for an extra swag.

Really adore the boots – there’s something about mixing up pink and black that goes so well – really makes the outfit ‘pops’! Frankie x
