I wanted to share my Valentines makeup look as I saw it as a such a good opportunity to showcase my latest Valentina Lipstick by Sarah Hill make up. I thought how appropriate, and what a great opportunity to create some content. Even though I’m not overly into Valentines, I wanted to take this chance to show off one of my favorites makeup looks for a night out.
I’m a massive fan of a dark lip and anything from deep dark reds, purple and pinks will work for me. The purple lip is the inspiration for this Valentines makeup look.
First of all, I’ve applied foundation and concealer. I opted for Make Up Forever HD foundation and Nars Radiant Creamy concealer as I really wanted that dewy finish. Since it’s the Valentines, I thought it would be quite nice to glow especially if you are trying to impress somebody. On my eyes, I applied a Mac shadow in Georgia Peach which I’m obsessed with and one coat of Este Lauder mascara to keep it as natural as possible.
As I wanted to achieve a dewy complexion, I opted for a pink opal metallic pigment also by Sarah Hill. I love their pigments especially as they are mineral based and last for such a long time. The reflection on the cheeks is always so on point. I also added a dash of bronzer for a more chiseled effect, as well as a tulip blush on my cheeks in dark pink for that romantic look.
When it comes to a Valentines makeup look, I think less is better and this look would look great with a nude lippy. I’m really into dark lips especially if I’m going out and since I’m single, a little boldness won’t hurt.
What do you guys think of my Valentines makeup look? Do you like it or do you think its a little much?
Have a lovely weekend.

I love the bold lip color and I especially love your top! I am super into both deep color hues in makeup and delicate feminine details in garments.

LOVE it! I’ve gone with a bolder lip lately and really like it. At 56, I didn’t think I could pull it off, lol!
Love that lip color, bold and sexy <3
