A Perfect Summer Holiday Dress

I wanted to share my gorgeous summer holiday dress on the blog this week. I went to Greece for a few days and manages to wear it for an evening out and a shoot. I think the style of my summer holiday dress fits the Greek vibe well too which makes it an even better choice.

When it comes to choosing a perfect summer holiday dress, a maxi style comes to mind first. I managed to take a few different styles with me so make sure you follow me on INSTAGRAM to be able to see.  I wanted to give midi ago as I really love how flattering it can be for my figure.

My silk jacquard dress in rose petal pink is by an NYC brand called Philistine. The dress has a deep plunge at the front with a twisted shoulder detail. It’s made from silk which makes it even more perfect as a summer holiday dress choice. You can either choose to wear a bra underneath or go without as the elastic band across the waist helps to keep the dress in place. The colour is so perfect for a summers evening drinks and I wanted to keep the vibe by adding a pair of metallic pink sandals from Asos. These are such a perfect find as they are under £20 currently plus they really remind me of Gucci Allie sandals.

I curled my hair slightly and added eye make up to exaggerate the evening look. Accessories wise I’m wearing Daisy London jewellery as they brought me along to see behind the scenes of their upcoming campaigns. The brand was kind enough to lend me a few pieces to wear for this shoot.

Do you guys have a go-to summer holiday dress too? I really want to experiment little more this year and wear pieces that I would usually shy away from. After trying my gorgeous dress, I realised that good things happen outside your comfort zone and all you have to do it give it a go.
