Devonshire Club is a cool private members club located in the City’s Devonshire Square. The club has a hefty membership price tag but luckily on the weekends, they open theirs to all of those new cool brunch spot seekers.
The Devonshire Club also developed a new bunch concept under the name of Sushi in The City served in a rather cute Christmas Idle setting. As you already know I’m really into my brunch so I was quite excited to give this new concept a try. The Devonshire Club serves a spectacular selection of sushi and sashimi created by in-house Sushi Chef Victor Klomu.
The Japanese sharing menu features an array of crisp raw vegetables with truffle ponzu dip, seafood and vegetable tempura all to accompany a delectable roast pork belly and a warming chilli and coriander ramen. By this point we were quite full however, we were right in the middle of our menu. We were also served as the closing dish Club’s signature crispy duck and pomegranate salad and a breathtaking miso-blackened cod served. We also had some Mochi to finish our brunch off and Prosecco to help us wash down our food.
