Hey everyone and welcome to The London Fashion Week Day 3 Review.
Today is my favourite day so far with some amazing shows including David Koma, Mary Katrantzou and Topshop Unique which are one of my favourite designers. There were so many amazing pieces that I wanted to share but I thought it would be the best to stick to 6 looks per designer. So here we go.
If you follow my blog from the beginning that you know that I adore David Koma and his designs, you can see the last season favourites HERE. Nude colour combined with leather, blue and orange dominated the collection, all of the dresses were perfectly designed to compliment svelte figure. I absolutely adore this collection.
Shoes beautiful shoes! The whole collection is somewhat unconventional with a lot of glitter, tartan and leopard print. Of course Sophia’s lovely butterflies were present on quite a few designs. Really cool!
Topshop is one of my old time favourites, they always seem to get it right. Pretty embroidered dresses, oversized roll necks paired with side slit skirts and knee high boots and oh yes lovely tartan that is much in the 80’s spirit. I don’t know about you but I will be for sure investing in a little black dress with fluffy details around the cuff.
I’m usually not a massive fan of Vivienne Westwood designs however there are few pieces in this collection that particularly stood out for me. I really loved the long gray and sort of leopard print coats. I also adore that red colour is present in this collection.
Bright colours dominated Mary Katrantzou collection, actually the whole collections is very bold and powerful. Midi length skirts paired with bright orange and yellow tops were two of my favourite pieces. You must love Mary Katrantzou’s vision.
