My Valentines Day Look

So it’s a Valentines week and even though my best friend is my Valentine who’s to stay that I can’t dress up and afford a gorgeous Valentines bouquet. Well, actually my beautiful bouquet is a present from Rebel Rebel an East London Florist that made this Valentine that extra beautiful and happy for me. Also, I love dressing up and this is a perfect opportunity to get the red number out for a perfect Valentines day look.

I think when it comes to fashion and Valentines day look a lot of people are going for red colour and I’m not any different, I think it’s a beautiful occasion to dress up and feel good whether you are single or in a relationship. It’s important to show love on Valentine’s day and this is coming from me, a proclaimed Valentines hater. But I’m not a changed woman because I met Mr. Right; I’m beginning to appreciate the day of love more and more because I learn to love myself more and more every day. Accepting yourself as you are is a difficult task and if I can do it, hopefully, it will inspire you to do the same.

Back to my Valentines day look, when I saw this beautiful red lace mini dress I fell in love and had to have it. The dress is sleeveless bodycon with a gorgeous nude underlay covered with red lace, I decided to pair with Asos Peyton pointed high heels in black and a black coat that I wore over my shoulders as a perfect finishing touch.

This red dress is also perfect with strappy nude sandals or even nude pointy heels, however, I decided to go for black to contrast and add a slight edge to this look. Red lipstick would also be an awesome finishing touch however I decided to go for nude to balance the look and make it slightly more subtle.
