As you read this, I’m on the way to Madrid for my beautiful friend’s wedding. I’m only staying over the weekend so nothing too exciting to report however, I may take a break from posting on Monday next week as I feel quite exhausted. Posting 3 times a week and working 40 hours can take its toll so it’s good to take a break. Without rambling on too much I wanted to share a selection of products that are made of natural ingredients and heaven sent for your skin especially if you are experiencing skin dryness and have skin that’s in a desperate need of some TLC.
I have been using Ruby Red’s products for over a month now and I can definitely confirm that little goes the long way. Ruby Red’s Hand Restoring Moisturizer is a very lush and moisturizing and yet not greasy at all. It absorbs so well and it’s a perfect day to day hand moisturizer. The formula apparently uses the same technology found in the face creams and it’s based on Plant stem cell actives of Mung Beans which are known to repair and firm skin’s elasticity, reduces the signs of sun damage and fights ageing which is more than you need in a hand cream. It’s a really great product and I’m so happy that I have stumbled upon it.
Shea Butter Skin Renewal Cream with Lemon and Honey is another one that is perfect for all the dry bits. I use this cream when I self-tan as it’s so moisturizing and nourishing so it really helps avoid fake tan patches around the areas such as elbows, hands and toes and your knees. The cream is quite intense and it melts really nicely on the skin making a tiny bit go a long way. Shea butter is rich in antioxidants and vitamins and perfect for restoring moisture to the skin. Lemon peel essential oil and Honey contains cell renewing enzymes which are perfect for skin renewal especially if you have any burns or skin damages.
Last but not least from Ruby Red is the Cool Foot Cream with Peppermint which is a perfect aid on these hot evenings to apply to your feet before going to bed. I apply this every other night after my evening shower and just before going to sleep and I love the feeling of coolness it provides to my feet. It smells fresh and it’s great to provide a quick pick me up especially after a long day. The cream contains the blend of Organic Shea Butter and Sunflower Seed oil which claims to soften the skin while the Peppermint revitalizes and cools the skin and also provides a really fresh scent. It’s hard in consistency however it melts nicely as soon as it’s applied to the skin.
Another product that is a must have a heavy duty natural skin care must have is Dr. PAWPAW Original Balm and Tinted Peach Pink Balm which together make such a perfect combination for lips. The original clear balm is multipurpose and you can use it for all kinds of skin problems. I use mine mainly for my lips and skin irritations but it’s also good for the sunburns so it’s definitely coming to California with me. The Tinted Papaya Balm is a perfect little friend to carry around in your purse especially if you are in need of a quick colour pop. I use it on my lips most of the time however, it can be used on your cheeks too. I love how versatile both products are which makes them a perfect companion for a holiday or a festival.
Are you guys fans of natural skin care and do you pay attention to areas such a dry bits, feet, and elbows?
