You know that time before the holiday when you are super excited to wear a bikini that you clean your diet as much as possible and almost go raw. I actually love raw food and eat as much as possible mainly in the form of salads. Raw vegetables and fruit are so good for your that you should consume as much as possible.
One problem with London is that the raw eating or healthy eating only became a thing recently and the majority of places won’t really embrace raw food and prefer to opt for options such as burgers. I do love a good burger, don’t get me wrong but this is usually a treat after I spend the entire week eating healthy. The exciting news, however, is that there are quite a few healthy eateries around and we decided to go for a lunch at the Raw Press located on the Ellis Street in Chelsea. Monique and I chose to have a healthy day so we cycled all the way from East London to Chelsea for some healthy food.
After a long cycle, the first thing I did is pick up a cold pressed juice from their fridge as I needed a major nourishment after all that exercise. So the Raw Press juicing method using the hydraulic juice press that works by slowly applying pressure until all of the juice is drained from the fruit and vegetables. This is such good way to consume almost a kilogram of fresh vegetables without having to eat it all. We also ordered avocado on toast as you do and a plate of mixed salad that contained my old time favourites including cauliflower rice. I had a coffee with almond milk on the side and we finished our meal with a few vegan desserts including bounty bars and a brownie. We were so full by the end of it but not sluggish at all, which is my favourite part of eating healthy.
Raw Press Chelsea is definitely one of my favourite new healthy eating spots in SW London and I can’t wait to go back. It’s a perfect location for a quiet healthy lunch. They also deliver via Uber Eats so you are lucky if you are in the area. Unfortunately, they don’t deliver as far as East London however, if you like to give it a try you can use my UBER EATS CODE eats-ex8yz to get £10 off your first order.
Do you guys enjoy raw food and healthy eating as much as me?
