Red & Pink were quite popular on quite a few catwalk show during SS17 fashion week. Both colours red & pink go so well together that matching them will make you look super stylish. Pulling these two colour can be a bold move but nonetheless a fashionable one.
I felt like my blog outfits were looking a little monotone and therefore decided to inject a little colour into my fashion section. This cute red dress with frilly detailing from Brand Attic is a great fit for my Red & Pink feature. I remembered that I had my pink sandals from Asos purchased a while back and decided to match it all together. I love this pair as it really reminds me of the Gucci snakes just at a major fraction of the price. I’ve been thinking about Gucci lately and that means that another splurge is on the way 🙂 In the same spirit, I decided to wear my Gucci bag to complete this look.
I met lovely Michaela who helped me shoot this look. We walked around Belgravia after our lunch scouting for the shoot locations when we run into Prada store. I really missed shooting in London. I travelled quite a bit in the last few months using this as an opportunity to take as many outfit shots abroad as possible. I really enjoy planning my outfits around the locations I’m visiting as it’s always so much for fun.
If you by any chance don’t feel comfortable by mixing these colours, I can advise starting small and maybe wear an outfit item in one colour mixing with an accessory in another. This is a very good way to test whether you enjoy this trend and most importantly how comfortable it makes you feel.
What do you guys think of my Red & Pink colour trend guide? Do you like how I styled this cute dress?
