Royal Mansour Marrakech – A Dreamy Spa Day

You can come to Marrakech without paying a visit to Royal Mansour and treating yourself to the dreamiest spa that there is. Royal Mansour is a luxury medina spread over 27,000 sq ft, built in an authentic Moroccan style with its own private entrance and driveway.

As soon as you enter this unique property, you will find yourself thinking that you are in a paradise or at least pretty close to it. The Royal Mansour Spa is one of the most relaxing places I have ever been to. The wonderful white arches and opulent setting will make you feel like a princess. The gorgous setting mixed with the friendliest service really make Royal Mansour a must visit if you find yourself in Marrakech.

Upon our arrival we were seated in the main lobby filled with white roses. We were given a refreshing and energising drink of lemon and ginger and a treatment menu. The spa facilities don’t just end with the treatment as the Royal Mansour has plenty to offer including 2 hammams, manicure and pedicure suites, hair salon, relaxation area filled with refreshing drinks and not to forget the pool area. I opted for a Ceremonia marocMaroc an aromatic relaxing massage using a nourishing argan oil and monoi butter body balm. The ritual enriched with a ‘’Roses de Sucre’’ to boost the hydrating and my therapist were the best combination to make me feel relaxed and comfortable throughout. Stephanie opted for their body scrub and experienced traditional Moroccan hammam treatment. The treatment lasted for 75 minutes and I felt so zen afterwards. My therapist took me to the relaxation room afterward where I was able to further relax with a cup of herbal tea.

We decided to spend some time in the pool area after our treatment as Royal Mansour was too good to leave too soon. We lounged by the pool soaking up the Moroccan sun. But before we knew it, we felt little peckish and decided to have some lunch in the Spa Garden and a walk through the private medina taking in the amazing architecture. We had a selection of sushi and their homemade bread which was such a perfect way to finish our visit to the gorgeous place that the Royal Mansour is.

It was so hard leaving the Royal Mansour and it luxurious and beautiful grounds. I can recommend it highly enough, if you are after a winter sun break filled with luxury and unparalleled service. I sure felt like a princess for a day.
