Hello dolls! With nicer weather upon us, I decided to go out more during the day and experience all the fun things that London has to offer, one of which is a tea drinking afternoon at Piacha.
Piacha located on Islington’s Upper Street offers some of the nicest blends in London town. These guys know how to skillfully brew not only the selection of their 25 Piacha tea blends but also offer ice tea smoothies both hot and cold, as well as tea infused food. We went there on the weekend to enjoy a nice cuppa and a few nibbles. I love how London changes when the sun comes out, the streets are filled with happy people. I love Islington because it feels like a small town, it so vibrant and it offers so much to do. Let me know if you would like me to write up a guide to Islington 🙂 We walked up Upper Street chatting away and stopping occasionally to take a few pictures of beautiful flowers that we’d stumble upon. Once we arrived at Piacha we were greeted by a lovely Bea who talked us through different teas that they offer, recommending the options to try. They really offer in different blends of Black, Green, Oolong and White Teas; Rooibos & Hibiscus and Herbal infusions.
We opted for Mao Feng Green and Moroccan Mint both offering a quite subtle infused green tea taste. We also decided to try Apple Green Tea & Pear and Berry Mix with Ginger Hot Smoothie, since we never had that before. For snacks we chose Herbs & Hummus and Apple Honey Brie Sandwiches that were so pretty served on black slates, needless to say delicious.
We spent a good couple of hours sipping our brew and chatting away. Bea was so lovely checking up on us to make sure that we had all we needed. The atmosphere was so relaxed and Piacha is so perfect if you like to bring your laptop with you and spend a day working in a pretty and airy setting whilst trying all the delicious teas. We also bought a few bags to take home as well as one of their pretty pots that they sell to brew our tea in 🙂
Do you guys like tea and what is your favourite blend?
