Sorry guys for a slight delay in this post, I don’t have access to the Internet at the moment as I’m back home and there is so much to do and so many people to see. I’m sharing the last post from Copenhagen, which is our visit to Tivoli Gardens and what has been to date my favorite Winter Wonderland type of outing.
We were so fortunate that our hotel was within a stone’s throw from the Tivoli Garden so we kinda left it to the end of our visit. They actually don’t open until 11 am and the sun is up until 4 pm ish so I can definitely recommend going between these times if you want to thoroughly take in the Tivoli Gardens, although when the lights are switched off in the evening it’s as equally mesmerizing.
I was amused by the amount of things to do in not such a big place, there is indeed something for everyone. The scenery is everything you guys and the atmosphere is so festive and wintery that we just lost ourselves walking around stopping rather often to drink a cup mulled wine as this was the only thing that kept us warm on a very cold day.
My favorite was a swan lake and it was so beautiful and enchanting that I wanted to stay there for a long time. Christmas spirit was present even thought it was after Christmas and the winter idle it was all I could ask for.
There are plenty of places to stop and have lunch also as well as a concert hall to see shows and they are currently showing the Hairspray if I’m not wrong. The rides are also a big thing here but this is not my favorite to do as it massively freaks me out.
The admission is free for kids below 8 years and 99DKK for adults. With this ticket, you can’t reenter however you can buy an additional readmission ticket, which cost 25DKK if I remember correctly. I didn’t photograph the evening visit but the lights are so magical and fairytale alike that you must take a stroll through the Garden if you ever find yourself in Copenhagen.
I won’t be sharing much from this current trip, however, I will blog as normal next week do please make sure you check out the brand new post on Monday.
Enjoy your Sunday lovelies.
