I’m in bed ill this past 2 days so apologies for the delayed post. Following up on the last weeks post about best daily moisturizers that I tried and tested for a good few years, I thought to add to it and share my best night moisturizers recommendation which are good specifically for oily skin and anti-aging.
First of all, I decided to start with this amazing Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair serum as it’s quite important that you use a serum if you are looking to preserve younger looks for a longer period of time. The serum promises to give you a more beautiful refreshed looking skin every day by addressing the key signs of aging due to its algae and yeast extract that is also set to help with purifying the skin. I really like it as I do wake up to a smoother and more hydrated skin. I apply the product every night after cleansing and toning and before my moisturizer by warming it between my fingers and gently tapping all over my face and neck area. It absorbs well and feels really nice on the skin. It retails at about £50, but it’s set to last quite a long time especially if you use it only in the evening.
After serum next I usually apply Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Cream which is also set to aid in preventing signs of fine lines and wrinkles around the eye area. This cream also helps with prevention of dark circles and puffiness. It’s light gel-ish texture absorbs quickly and you only need a bit of it on the top of your fingers to gently apply on the eye area. I have been using this cream forever and I love it, it retails at around £40 and last a really long time.
Two of my favorite night moisturizer are this Clarins Multi-Active Youth recovery Cream and Elemis Pro-Collagen Oxygenating Night cream. I’m a massive fan of Clarins and I have tried a lot of their products, I love the Multi-Active range and this cream is everything that you would need from a night moisturizer. It’s like silky texture absorbs so well, it smells amazing and leaves the skin soft and hydrated until the morning. It’s set to minimize the appearance of early lines and wrinkles and it’s perfect for someone in their twenties looking to delay first signs of aging. I highly recommend this cream, it’s around £44 and it last a very long time.
Since I’m approaching 30’s, I had to step up my anti-aging game and invest into the Elemis Pro-Collagen Oxygenating Night cream, which is so amazing. It feels so luxurious between your fingers and absorbs so well making you feel super moisturizer. This cream is clinically proven to help increase skin’s oxygen levels and it helps with skin’s natural regeneration process. It basically replenishes overnight the oxygen that we lose during the day due to pollution, stress and another environmental aggressors. It’s little on the pricier side retailing at £95 for ml, but it really nourishes the skin and it makes feel super hydrated and soft in the morning.
What is your nightly moisturizing routine? I would be so grateful if you subscribe to my Youtube channel to stay in the known every time I publish of one of these posts.
