Wedding Guest Dressing with Matthew Williamson

Wedding season is upon us and I’m sure you may have noticed from Facebook and other social media channels that your friends and family are getting married more than usual and trust me it’s happening to everyone. Wedding guest dressing can be a bit of a nightmare as it takes endless scrolling through Pinterest to get inspiration and plan your outfit and once you have the style in mind, your research can commence which is let’s face it a job in itself!

I have a beautiful wedding to go to next month in Madrid so I decided to go all in and looking for a pretty and chic full-length dress in nude colour with pastel sequins by Matthew Williamson from Debenhams. I’m so excited to collaborate with Debenhams on this post as they wedding guest dressing styles are to die for. There are so many cute wedding guest dressing choices to choose from that fits every style and budget as well as evening and occasion wear dresses that are also beautiful.

I think when it comes to the wedding guest dressing you are ought to splash some cash as these dresses are classics and can be worn on more than one occasion. My Matthew Williamson dress is so perfect for summer weddings and can be worn day to night. The dress is so comfortable and fits me well as usually I struggle to find a floor length dresses that fit my height perfectly. I’m in love with this gorgeous embellishment that features a nude colour mesh overlayer which is hand finished in a combination of silver and iridescent white sequins with pops of neon pink that brings the dress to another level and I think with a small waves in your hair you are on the win to rock your friend’s wedding. The skirt is gently flared and flattering to my hourglass figure and I really love how the detailing exaggerates my curves.

Matthew Williamson has so many great styles in the latest collection that range from blush pinks with asymmetric hems to purple and navy blue Bardot style dresses. If you are like me and are obsessed with the nudes and blush pink then you will love my choice but also other styles that are available in the Butterfly collection.

Regarding shoes, the best option is to go for the same colour as your dress and I was so excited to find this gorgeous nude lace-up heels from Asos. Since my dress features beautifully embellished details I decided to go minimal on accessories and only wear this beautiful Tiffany diamond flower bracelet. I wore my extensions which I gently curled in the form and pinned my fringe to the sides to get that gorgeous simple summer hair.
