Afternoon Tea Week London -Thomas’ Cafe Burberry

Afternoon Tea Week London is happening this week and in its spirit, I wanted to share one my favourite afternoon teas in London at Thomas’ Cafe Burberry Store.

I’m a self-confessed afternoon tea-holic and enjoy it so much especially when it’s served with a side of bottomless bubbly. London has so many good options for an afternoon tea that you will literally find yourself super spoilt for choice. Since this week is entirely dedicated to it, I thought why not add a dash of style and opt to feature Burberry’s infamous Thomas’ Cafe. Located just behind the Regent Sreet it provides a perfect spot to relax after a long day of shopping. This, by the way, is my favourite way to spend weekend afternoons in London.

As soon as you enter the store, you will feel like wanting to leave the Burberry world. Our table was upstairs which gave us really good views of Regent street however as soon as our afternoon tea arrived, we didn’t have time to look at anything else. Our waitress was very attentive and recommend that we go for Darjeeling as a choice of out tea but of course, you can always have a coffee. We also opted for Nyetimber Rosé option which allowed us to have a little cheeky drink. The food platter contained Finger sandwiches, English cakes and biscuits. Scones and crumpets were very yummy and served with a choice of strawberry or blueberry jam as I recall correctly, we opted for strawberry. You can have a look at Tomas’ Cafe menu here.
