Black & Grey Look perfect for a Winter Day

As much as I love winter holidays and winter in general, cold weather doesn’t always agree with me. On our visit to Copenhagen, I was so cold that we probably didn’t manage to see as much as we would if the wind wasn’t as ghastly. Anyway, there are good sides to colder whether such is the ability to layer up and wear warm and snug clothes, big scarves and long coats. You probably guess by knowing that this is where this outfit inspiration comes from. A black & grey look is always a good choice for a cold winter day.

Oh, how I love long coats and jumper dresses. This lovely long grey dress that is pretty much the warmest thing I almost ever wore and, believe it or not, it’s from Primark. I thought I would pair with my over the knee boots just for the extra oomph. We are quite lucky in London as it isn’t so cold as I can just wear my long coat over my shoulders and this gorgeous grey ASOS Coat in hairy wool which is just so perfect for a stylish day out. To complete the look I added the Rhea Backpack from Michel Kors latest collection. I love a good backpack and this one is just a perfect size, fits everything you need and it’s so easy to style with plenty of outfits. It also compliments perfectly the wholeblack & grey look vibe.

I’m away next week again and the destination is super snowy so I will have the opportunity to wear more of snug and warm clothes which will hopefully keep me warm. A few more outfits are in the post as we speak as I had to take the advantage of the sales so I’m quite excited to shoot it for you guys. I will, however, try to keep it more fun and not shoot as many black & grey look.

Do you have a stylish go-to colour/look that you always rely on?

Nice look. The black & grey mimics the dark and moody weather you seemed to be in the middle of. Days like that, doesn’t really inspire you to put on color….unless it just comes natural to you regardless of the conditions outside. It’s unfortunate you were freezing. You still managed to pull off a cute shoot, minus the coat. Great job!

This outfit is seriously stunning and this dress fits you perfectly! So jealous of your figure! And yes, the cold days really do inspire layering, although when it gets to be a certain temperature I have to admit that all fashion sense for me goes out the window and I dress for warmth and comfort over style haha.

I think what I love so much about the winter is layering! I say this as someone who is perpetually cold, and always layers! And black and grey outfits are perfect for those days! You look beautiful! Love the grey coat <3
