I have so much content from Los Angeles and my road trip that I will most likely be blogging every day for the next couple of weeks. This can be difficult when you are on the road as WiFi keeps on going out and I don’t have that much time to write. I’m loving every second of our trip though so I can’t help but share our beautiful photos and experiences with you guys. But before I wanted to share our dinning experience at West Restaurant & Lounge.
You by now may already now that I’m a sucker for a dinner with a good view or any bar/restaurant that is kind of high up makes me want to blog about it. During our stay at the Hotel Angelano, we decided to give West Restaurant & Lounge a go. Positioned on the 17th floor of the Hotel Angelano, the restaurant offers amazing views of Los Angeles and it’s traffic that stretches all the way to the Downtown. Los Angeles is well known for its traffic but we actually find it so organized and easy to drive in that I can’t get why everyone always complaining about it. The traffic looks mesmerizing from the restaurant and the view really paints the best picture of the city.
We started with Sauvignon Blanc from the Napa Valley. This was such a good idea since we were exhausted from exploring the entire day. For starters I opted for Tuna and Avocado Tartar where Adela decided to skip hers. Portions are so big here that most of the time just the main is more than enough, but I love eating so I can’t help but order more than one. Main wise I went from their Shrimp and Scallops and Adela had Scottish Salmon. As you can see the size of the portions makes it hard to finish. Food was really delicious and since our bellies were overly full, we had such a good night sleep.
The atmosphere at the West Restaurant & Lounge is so romantic after the sunset with the dimmed lights and friendly service, makes the West restaurant a perfect spot for a date. If you find yourself in Los Angeles, I highly recommend you check the restaurant West out.
