Hair Colour & Olaplex Treatment at the O’Sullivan Concept Salon

Happy Friday! London is miserable as ever and I’m missing Rome so I will be sharing a few more posts from Rome as I created so much content whilst there. Before I went I decided that I needed to have my colour done and since my hair felt little fragile, I threw in an Olaplex treatment as well to give my hair that extra love. I had my colour and the treatment done at the O’Sullivan Concept Salon at the Shard as I had a friend recommend their colour services so I thought to give it a go.

I walked in and girls greeted me warmly, my colourist Morgan introduced herself and took the time to understand what I wanted to achieve from today’s visit to the O’Sullivans. I explained that I wanted my roots coloured in the same shade and even out the rest of my colour to make it look nicer. Morgan suggested we take it from a warm honey blonde to more of an ashy tone keeping my balayage at the ends. I wanted to use INOA Ammonia Free Colour as this is the product I always use when I colour and I could not be happier with the result. We chatted throughout my treatment and Morgan told me that she used to do TOWIE girls hair. She gave me a lot of advice on which shampoos I should use to protect and nurture my hair which I found extremely helpful.

Morgan also advised that I should add Olaplex into my colour as INOA is oil based and mixing it with Olaplex will result in a different shade. Olaplex comes in 3 stages and it promised to restore the health of all damaged hair. I had to purchase the 3rd stage product and do it at home myself but to be honest my hair never felt better. It feels super soft, strong, volumised and the best of all healthy.

I’m also super happy with my colour and I can’t wait to go back in and have Morgan add a few extensions to my hair and colour it again. All in all, I’m so happy with the service I received at the O’Sullivan Concept Salon and I will definitely be returning. Their prices won’t break the bank either and it’s nice to know that you don’t need to spend hundreds of pounds to get a good colour.

Have you guys tried Olaplex Treatment?

Olaplex is such a great treatment! At first I was little sceptical but a soon as I washed my hair for the first time after it, I could feel and see the difference. Highly recommend it x

Kim Kardashian used it when she went bleach blonde to save her hair and it kinda went really popular from there. It’s amazing to have it done with your colour or you can buy the Stage 3 and use it at home as a mask every few weeks. I didn’t see the difference right away but when I washed my hair the first time after it, my hair felt amazing xxx
