The trench coat is a must-have item this Spring and if you haven’t purchased one yet, now is a good time.
The good thing about a trench is that it’s always in fashion so even if you take a plunge and invest into the Burberry, you know that you will be able to wear it a year after a year. It’s such a style staple and it’s so versatile and effortlessly cool but at the same time a perfect cover up if you are feeling a little under the weather.
Since the trench is super versatile, you can wear it to work, days and even nights out. The best news is that season so many stores have a bunch of cool trench coats available so that pretty much you may feel spoilt for choice. I’ve tried a bunch of coats from H&M, Mango, River Island but funny enough Zara always suit me the best.
I wanted to add the smart chic twist to my casual look of Levi’s jeans and Levi’s print logo tee. I accessories with my Gucci belt, Chanel WOC in beige and Topshop loafers that pretty much look like Gucci. It really gives the simple look a chic street style
I’ve met Paulina from Fashion is My Fashion filled with brunch, mimosas and laughter. And of course, outfit shoot as that the blogger life 🙂 Paulina had her own modern take on the trench trend opting for a corduroy style coat in grey from Topshop.
I can pretty much say that the trench is my favourite outwear item alongside a bomber jacket for this season. I just love the simplicity of it but at the same time the comfort it provides. I’m also excited to wear it with midi dresses when I go out as it provides a perfect cover up.
Do you guys like how I style this look? Also, have you purchased a new trench this season or planning to rock your old one?

You’re looking good in a trench! I always envy people living in countries with 4 seasons cos we just don’t get them here. Pity, cos we’re missing out on so much awesome fashion!
