Parisian life is my dream and every opportunity that I have to visit the City of love I take it. This time we stayed in the most central location at Citadines Apart’hotel in Opera. Opera is a favourite area amongst fashionistas due to its well know department stores including Les Galeries Lafayette.
This was my first time at Citadines apart’hotels and it was lovely to have a good balance between the hotel and apartment life. I loved the ability to be able to live like the local but also have an option to pop down for breakfast when I felt tired or not in the mood to whizz one up myself. I absolutely loved the area and this is the first time where I was able to walk everywhere. Montmartre was less than 30 minutes walk and we spent most of our evenings around this area drinking and eating at dreamy Parisian cafes.
The best thing about Citadines apart’hotel is that you can get a discounted longer term stay. This is a great option if you are looking to live in Paris little longer without committing to a rental lease. Apart’hotel is literally a home away from home for as long as you need. The service can be tailored to one’s specific needs so I was really happy to have had an opportunity to work with them on this occasion.
I travelled with Emily and the purpose of our trip was to explore as many cafes as possible and live the Parisian life in a true local style. Emily is from New York so she loves Paris and its cafe culture. I’m so excited to do a round-up of my favourite places we ate at in the next few days.
Our apartment at Citadines Opera was very spacious and split across floors. We had a bedroom and a bathroom upstairs and a large living area and kitchen downstairs. There was plenty of space for 2 people and the apartment was very comfortable with modern appliances.
The area has so many restaurants as well as clubs that you will probably not even feel the need to leave the area but I love walking around Paris and this is why I wanted to share my top places to eat at which will be live this week.
