My London Fashion Week Day 2 was a little more chilled than a day one. Unfortunately, I only managed to attend 2 days this season as I couldn’t get any more time off work, however, I had a blast. It was so nice to see a few shows and meet with other bloggers over a brunch and dinner.
For the day two, I opted for silver and metallic. My metallic A-line skirt is from Zara, shocker I know. I actually got this skirt on the Zara sale in Paris and unfortunately, it isn’t longer available but I found a similar here. I decided to style it with an oversized sweatshirt with corset detail by Reclaimed Vintage, fishnets and open front leather boots. The choice of bag is a small Michael Kors backpack as it fits everything from my camera to makeup and it’s super easy to carry around.
London Fashion Week Designer Showrooms
I spent some time browsing the Designer Showrooms showcasing a wide selection of quirky ready to wear, footwear and accessories from over 150 designers. I love that the emerging designer showcase is in the same space as the main catwalk shows. Showing in the London Fashion Weeks Designer Showrooms gives emerging brands the exposure they need to make new connections and help promote their designs to various buyers and press. I selected my favourite picks below 🙂
I’ve also visited Globe-Trotter’s presentation which celebrated their 120th anniversary, which provided the source of inspiration for the AW 2017 collection.Warm, autumnal tones of brinjal and mustard, inspired by pieces from the Globe-Trotter archives provide a rich backdrop to the seasonal design details which adorn the collection of suitcases, bags and small leather accessories showing the brands evaluation since 1897.
What do you guys think of this look? Do you prefer it to the pink option or is silver/grey more of your thing?
