Manicure and Pedicure at the DryBy Bar London with Farfetch

I was so excited when Farfetch invited me to come along to their get to know the blogger day at the DryBy Bar London. It was a small affair with only a few girls chatting and sharing blogger experiences whilst enjoying luxurious manicure and pedicure at the DryBy Bar.

DryBy Bar is blow-dry and nail bar located on 74 Mortimer Street where us girls can go and take a couple of hours out of our busy day and just get pampered. The bar is split in two with the upstairs mainly taking care of your hair whilst nail bar is located downstairs. I, unfortunately, didn’t have a blow dry this time as we only had our manicure and pedicure booked, however, I did have my hair colored with Olaplex treatment the day before at the O’Sullivan concept salon at the Shard Arcade so watch out for that review next Friday.

I was so happy when Farfetch approached me, for those ladies who are not aware Farfetch is an online retailer that stock designer goods from over 400 boutiques located in Europe and UK. I love when I get the opportunity to meet bloggers that are similar to me and I was so excited to get to know Phoebe from Wood & Luxe and Kristy from Miss Kristy Anna. We  had Prosecco to drink , chatted away whilst being pampered.

Dry By bar was absolutely amazing, I couldn’t believe that my finger and toenails could look that good. The colors were amazing and so many to choose from, however, I opted for red as I plan to shoot a few pastel outfits whilst in Rome so I needed a little pop of color. Besides you can never go wrong with red no matter the season. My therapist was Reka and she is amazing, she talked me through the whole process and how best to take off your shellac when it starts peeling. Note to yourself girls, never peel as it takes the top layer of your nail off, I know I’m guilty of it every time. All you need to do is soak a cotton bud with pure acetone, place it on your nail, wrap it with aluminum foil and let it sit for over 10mins (little longer if you are not using the pure acetone) and voila you will be able to file off your shellac without much effort. The shellac they use is CND Shellac and even though the price of manicure here is higher than most places, I can promise that you will not be disappointed. If you are like me and think that no matter how good the salon is, nothing will make your toes pretty, you will be pleasantly surprised as after my Pedi I loved the way my feet looked.

I hope you guys enjoyed this review and the post, I’m really grateful for Farfetch to include me in this experience. I wore my lace up sandals on the day which cut into my skin slightly leaving marks, in case you wonder why my feet look weird 🙂

I’m in Rome for a few days so do let me know if you have any tips or know any places that are must visit while in this beautiful city!

Lots of Love!
