Hello from Turkey!
I have been traveling all day from Istanbul to Dalaman where I will be spending this week, so I’m quite excited about it. I had such a blast in Istanbul and I never imagined that I would have so much fun on my own; I will be posting my highlights from Istanbul this and also next week so stay tuned. I stayed at the Sura Hagia Sophia Hotel which I highly recommend you guys check out if you are visiting Istanbul.
I had such a great experience at Sura Hotel Suite that I felt that it deserves a full blog post; I have also filmed a vlog about it which will be live on my Youtube channel first thing in the morning.
Back to Sura, the lovely concierge sent a driver to pick me up and welcome me to Istanbul in style. I arrived late on Friday evening and was greeted by a friendly receptionist who whizzed my bags into the room and made me feel really welcome.
The hotel lobby was absolutely breathtaking with extravagant flowers everywhere and a large leather seating.
Since the trip was quite exhausting and I arrived late, I went to bed pretty much straight away and had a really good nights sleep before I embarked on exploring Istanbul. My room at Sura Hagia Sophia Hotel was everything, so beautiful, bright and airy and most of all comfortable. The bathroom was all mirrored so great for some selfies!
Sura Hagia Sophia Hotel is a luxury five-star boutique hotel and really didn’t disappoint me in any aspect. The location was so perfect and I was free to walk everywhere. Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosk are literally 2 minutes’ walk away.
The restaurant served a really good breakfast and I made sure I filled up before walking all day long. To be honest I didn’t really eat lunches as I wasn’t too hungry and having had booked dinner at 2 amazing restaurants, I thought it best to save myself for them.
The gardens at Sura are so gorgeous for a stroll or a relaxing afternoon by the pool. Since I only had 2 days in Istanbul I skipped the pool and the gym (walked 10k per day instead at least) but would have loved to have had more time just to relax and take it slow as a week in Istanbul would be perfect to have enough time to both relax and explore.
I took a bunch of pictures for you guys so I hope you like it. I really can’t recommend Sura Hagia Sophia Hotel Suites enough whether it be a romantic weekend away or trip on your own, you will definitely feel super welcomed.
I will be posting another post this week about Istanbul so please check it out 🙂
Have a good week everyone.

The decoration of the hotel looks amazing and facilities seems perfect as well. I would like to go there with my son but unfortunately he is physical disabled. I don’t know if it’s entirely accessible.
