Happy Monday everyone!
I’m not entirely feeling it today as this gloomy weather is massively demotivating. Don’t mind me venting about the weather, though.
I realised that there aren’t that many coffee shops on the blog so I thought I would go off and find some cool brunch places that are worth blogging about. After looking into a bunch of different places, I came across Attendant on Foley Street (click HERE for the map).
It was formerly known as an old Victorian toilet that dated back to 1890’s and has only recently after many years of being dormant, been transferred to, as their website states, “One of Europe’s most unique espresso and food spaces”.
I’m not a massive supporter of the eating in the toilet concept, however despite the porcelain urinals that remain in the Attendant the place has a rather cool vibe about it.
The food was absolutely delicious and quite inexpensive. They served the most delicious kale, halloumi and chickpea salad with summer tarts amongst other delicious wraps, sandwiches and soups. I opted for a pulled chicken wrap which was so yummy alongside a strong Americano served with a side of almond milk. Their cakes and pastries are not to be missed either. A big plus for food from me.
I took a bunch of pictures to show you guys as the place is really cute and quirky. If you work in the area, then I would highly recommend you pop here for lunch otherwise, if you find yourself in the midst of Oxford Street hustle and bustle and are on a look out for a chilled lunch spot then the Attendant is an absolute must.
Hope you like my pictures and as ever, please share any comments that you may have below.
Have a great week!
