Contouring on a Budget

Happy Friday!

I’m so happy as the week is over and I only have 4 days left of work and I’m off to an amazing place. I’m also less than 24hrs away from submitting my dissertation so nothing can ruin my good mood today. I look forward to spending my whole weekend celebrating.

Obviously, Fridays are for Beauty tips and product suggestion so I thought I’d share some contouring tips with you guys.Contouring on a budget is achievable now more than ever with so many products on the market available. My favourite budget contouring palette is the one by Sleek Makeup available at most Superdrug stores. Sleek Contouring kit comes in a mirrored compact with blush/bronzer and a highlighter. I have 2 shades; Light and Dark so depending on how tanned I am, I can alternate.

At the moment I’m mainly using the light kit however, I will be holidaying quite a bit for the next 2 months so the dark kit will also come in handy.

I think both kits are amazing value for money. There is a good 4 hours of lasting power and the highlighter is really lush, love how it feels on the skin and it applies really smoothly. The bronzer side is also quite good, however, not my favourite. I believe I have  Hoola Bronzer by Benefit to blame for that.

The shade of both bronzers is absolutely gorgeous and if you blend it well, it contours the face amazingly. Sleek are well known for their pallets and I have eye shadows, blushers as well as contouring kits but they also have some great highlighting pallets that I will be trying out soon.

I’m not sure about you guys but I think Sleek is a really great brand if you are in need of a decently priced nicely packaged product and it fits in nicely with all the other pallets in my collection.

All in all, if you are on a budget and need a really decent contouring kit than I say, treat yourself to one of these bad boys as they are retailing at only £6.49.

Do you have any contouring tips or products that you use daily?

Have a lovely weekend everyone.
