How I survive the London Fashion Week

London Fashion Week is my favourite time of the year but at the same time the most hectic. I love it because I get to see the shows and experience the fashion industry in a whole new light. It’s so inspiring to see how much work and creativity goes into creating the collections and show production that I can’t help but feel extremely grateful to be part of it in some way.

Truth to be told I love the London Fashion Week even more as this is one week where all bloggers get together and I get to hang out with so many amazing people that inspire me. This season I’ve based myself in the Apartment as I work with its drinks partner Haig Club. Some of you have probably seen my Instagram pictures and stories of me spending some good quality time enjoying a cocktail or two in the company of my favourite people at the pop-up Haig Club bar.

Haig Club is the stylish Single Grain Scotch whisky that’s been created in partnership with David Beckham and aside from being delicious, it comes in beautiful blue bottles that provide the perfect props for my Instagram photos. I particularly love Haig Club’s latest campaign #LeaveAsYouArrived as it promotes quality over quantity and the importance of drinking in moderation. It’s all about looking as good leaving the bar (and London Fashion Week) as when you arrived – in style, which ensures the next day will be productive. This is extremely important around the London Fashion Week as with so many shoots and shows in one day, you start really early and don’t come home until later in the evening. I love the adrenaline that you get from being so busy during the entire day that I wouldn’t change it for anything else in the world.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with The Apartment, it’s a collective space for like-minded individuals that come together every season during fashion weeks. It’s usually located somewhere centrally like China Town giving us all the opportunity to use it as a base during this hectic week. Haig Club created a cool pop-up bar within the space which was open from the hours of 5pm – 7pm serving cocktails for the bloggers that attended, it was so nice to pop to The Apartment to do some work between shows and then have a drink with my friends afterwards – it provided the perfect opportunity to have a break from work and see how everyone else was doing.

London Fashion Week gave me a chance to spend time with so many lovely ladies including Sinead and Lauren Crowe, Suzanne Spiegoski, The Lipstick Fever, Sug Sean, Hawkins and Shepard, Man for Himself, Sophie Millner, Bonnie Rakit, Lissie Roddy, Icing and Glitter, Miss Gunner, PS Shades of my Life, Stylichine, Beauty Rocks Blog that I feel so happy to be surrounded by such amazing girls. Our industry is strong and growing and this is because we are a community and support each other. I at least choose to surround myself with positivity and I love and feel inspired by every single blogger I spend my time with.

I have included a few photos of The Apartment and the Haig Club bar to try and show you the atmosphere. I’m so grateful to be able to work with amazing brands like this that support creativity and our little blogosphere.

What do you guys think of my photos?
