Hi guys and happy Monday!
I was invited to 155 Bar and Kitchen Clerkenwell for a cocktail masterclass and canapes couple of weeks ago, I decided to share the experience with you as the venue is absolutely amazing. It’s actually a part of a new concept venue in Clerkenwell London which is London’s new leading destination for the discovery of niche and established designers, creatives and artisans, I was really blown away as I didn’t know what to expect when I got there.
155 Bar and Kitchen Clerkenwell London showcases a considerable collection of hand-picked homewares, fashion, jewellery, stationery, art, music and literature, the 13,000 sqft space strives to promote the makers and craft behind the very best of contemporary creativity and to provide a home for the very finest food, wine, events and experiences. I thought that this was best put in a video so I did a little vlog to show you around the venue.
They even had a Menswear and Womenswear Fashion store that focuses on designers contemporary pieces and their rails featured a combination of emerging talents and established brands, including Stutterheim, Zoe Jordan and Hannibal. In addition to this, there is their own perfumery which I thought it was really cool.
155 Bar and Kitchen is such a beautiful space to dine and drink, they offer a British cuisine and a selection of amazing quirky cocktails and a hand-picked range of wines and craft beers. We had a masterclass where we started with a Lavender Refresher gin based and served in a copper mug with a lavender garnish; needless to say, it was delicious. Buffalo Berry was the next one on their new Autumn menu that we were testing, it was little stronger as its whiskey based, it was equally deliciously served in a jam jar garnished with basil leaves and a strawberry.
Next we had Catch the Cherry, a Black Cow martini served on a Lovosh cracker and Black Cow cheese, believe it or not, and last which was my personal favourite Pinkster Bakewell tart with Amaretto and apple juice, with almond cream floated on top, this cocktail literally tasted like a dessert in a glass. We were also served a selection of delicious canapes, I took a few pictures below to show you guys.
If you are on a look out for something different and a space for private dining or for special-occasion space whether it be for meals or functions, 155 Bar and Kitchen have you covered. I was literally amazed with how much variety this venue offers and I was so happy to be part of it.
I hope you guys like it as much as I do.
