Checked blazer is this season must have especially after Gucci featured it in its SS17 show. If you, unfortunately, don’t have over 1k to spend on a Gucci blazer, worry not as Zara has you covered. Zara has a cool checked blazer options available and I, of course, had to pick one. Every time, I speak to my fashionista friends, I find it that most of us are obsessed with Zara. I mean can you blame us.
I wanted to take my new favourite checked blazer out to brunch as I think it’s just a perfect weekend look. Since it was the weekend, I thought to style it with jeans, tee and Vans as it was the most appropriate. I got the Feminist slogan tee from Minga London which has a bunch of cool slogan tees and hoodies. I wore my Black denim Mom Jeans from Asos and an Old School style Vans which I absolutely love. I have seen Feminist slogan tee circling around Instagram since the LFW and I really love the so thought to get one. I’m also really excited. I noticed that they don’t have any left on their site but you can get it from Amazon instead. I have accessoried the look with Ray Bans and Gucci bag in pink as it matches so well with the Feminist slogan on my tee.
I’m quite fortunate that I can wear this look to work as we have casual dressing policy. Wearing my Vans and jeans is my favourite thing to do especially on the weekends as I love wearing comfortable pieces that are on trend. I feel like Mom jeans and a checked blazer are such a perfect combo and both on trend which is another cool reason to love and wear it. White tee with a slogan or without elevates the look further.
Do you guys like this look and how I style my checked blazer? Also, what are your weekend go-to outfits?
