Stripes on dresses may put a few people off but if you find yourself in France, then I highly recommend wearing it. I love stripes especially because there are so many cool variations of stripes so your styling options are endless.
Since I was in France, I picked up this simple off the shoulders midi Zara dress with horizontal black and white stripes. This dress retails at only £12 and it’s a perfect holiday pick. I especially love the ruffle details around the shoulder area as it really screams cool French girl style. The best of all this dress is so easy to slip on between the beach and the hotel. Or just simply take it out to a lunch date.
It was extremely hot in Montpelier, over 30 Celsius to be more precise so I think wearing light cotton or linen is your best option. We went for lunch and ice cream and I was so happy when we found this church with a gorgeous green door. I loved how my dress with stripes popped against the green background. This dress is such a perfect budget closet sample as it won’t disappoint especially if you are after that classic style.
I accessorised with flat sandals as I had to do quite a bit of walking around the town and I really thought these went well with the dress. I also added Saint Laurent Sac De Jour which is a perfect bag to carry around with you when you are out and about. This is one of my last travel posts from this trip and I really hope you guys like this look. I have another trip coming up in 10 days to Milan so I have stocked up on a whole bunch of cute dresses to take with me. There is something about dressing for the location that I love so much.
Have a great week ahead loves!
