I have recently returned from Cambodia and a visit to Angor Wat was in no doubt a highlight of my trip. I wanted to in this post share our experience so if you wish to visit yourself, you may find this information useful.
After a good few hours of travelling, we finally arrived at the international airport of Siem Reap. The airport is in full function since 2008 and its one of the busiest airports in Cambodia. It took us an hour to get through the visa queue and exchange some money before a Shinta Mani Angor driver welcomed us in the warmest way.
According to research, almost 57% of Brits regret some of the holidays that they have taken and prefer to visit a destination that they have been to before. As a matter of fact, most of us will go to the same holiday 4 times in our lives to avoid disappointment. Some of this disappointment and lack of excitement comes from fear of the language barrier, cultural differences and even understanding the local currency.
Your visit to Chiang Mai wouldn’t be complete without visiting an Elephant Sanctuary. There are many tours operating on a daily basis and we booked ours via Blue Gecko which was nothing short of an amazing and highly recommended experience.
If you read one my latests post, you will know how much I enjoyed exploring the food scene of Chiang Mai. Since we based our stay in Nimmana, a rather lively area packed with Instagram worthy cafes, bars and restaurant that we enjoyed visiting.
After seeing Lisa and Aggie create the brunch friendship goals photo by the Akyra Manor pool, we knew that we had to visit this amazing place. Also, Akyra Manor was 4 minutes walk from our apartment in Chiang Mai so we decided to go for a late lunch and sunset drinks at their pool. The pool bar is literally so cool although not the biggest so the atmosphere was really nice.
Every time you hear about Koh Phangan, you hear about the Moon Party. The island is known for being a party island but we wanted to visit and have a completely opposite experience away from the rowdy partygoers. We chose to base our stay at the Panviman Resort Koh Phangan located on the steep hillside with the gorgeous views of the Thong Nai Pan Beach. We wanted to extend our time for relaxation so we chose to have another 2 chilled days on the island.
There are so many places to visit in Bangkok especially if you are into photography. We were after a good mix of must-see landmarks to satisfy our touristy cravings and at the same time, Instagram friendly locations that will get those likes up.
After we spent a few days in Bangkok it was a good time for us to soak up some sunshine one of Thailand’s most beautiful islands Koh Samui. We booked a 4 night stay at The Lipa Lodge Resort well known for being a beautiful oasis positioned right on the white sandy beach in the Gulf of Thailand.
Vertigo Bangkok is a bar and restaurant on the 59th floor of the Banyan Tree hotel in Bangkok and the first stop of our travel adventure. After travelling for over 12 hours we were in a massive need of some amazing food and a good drink. The breathtaking view was a major plus as it really made me appreciate all that happened in 2017 and I couldn’t help but feel filled with gratitude for 2018.
Happy New Year everybody! I hope you all had the best night celebrating a start of the year that I believe it will be the best year yet. Here is to 2018 the year of gratitude, happiness and self-fluffiness.
As we come closer to Christmas the number of opportunities to indulge in food and drink increases. This means that we put a lot more pressure on our health and especially the gut. If you have IBS, this time of the year has to be difficult for you.
Last minute Christmas gift guide is here for your leisure. It’s meant for all of those who have a person in your family or friendship group who are difficult to buy for. I decided to dedicate this post to them, well actually to you as I want to help you out with your decision making.
I somehow made December out to be a month of jumpers. I ended up using this as a way to shield myself from the cold weather and winter blues. Well, I suppose that’s what jumpers are made for.
I recently finished a Restylane Skin Boosters treatment with Doctor Imogen Bexfield at White Swan Aesthetics and I wanted to share my experience and review the treatment for you.
It’s no surprise that violence against women and girls is real but shockingly 1 in 4 women in the UK are affected by violence and in the other parts of the world, this number goes up to 3 in 4 women. It baffles me that this type of behaviour even exists in the current world we all live in and I really wanted to share this post to spread the word with hopes to put a stop to it.
I’ve been really getting into the Christmas spirit and spending quite a bit of time with my friends and family. It’s such a beautiful time of the year to spend as much time as possible with your loved ones catching up on how our Christmas preparations are coming along.
Devonshire Club is a cool private members club located in the City’s Devonshire Square. The club has a hefty membership price tag but luckily on the weekends, they open theirs to all of those new cool brunch spot seekers.
As a working woman, I only have few moments each morning to get ready so I kinda mastered a “how to get ready in 5 minutes” routine. I went to Bobbi Browns makeup workshop with BBPR Hannah Martin, where I picked up a few tricks and tips that I wanted to share with you guys.
Happy December loves! With December comes loads of December parties which are a great opportunity to get your work party outfit ready and prepare yourself for some serious festive fun.
Aladdin is one of my favourite Disney films and when I received an invitation to see the musical at the Prince Edward Theater, I couldn’t contain my excitement. It’s been a while since I’ve been to the theatre and I watched Miss Saigon the last time, have a look at the post here.
