I thought that in this post I can show you how to spend a day in Paris as a blogger to hopefully give you some insight as to how we bloggers go about our days creating content. To a lot of people we tend to come across as girls who only eat, drink and look cute but most of the time a lot of work goes in the background of creating those cute Instagram shots.
Usually, I stay in La Marais or Latin Quarter each time I go to Paris, but this time we wanted a hotel near the Eiffel Tower. The Eiffel Tower is one of the most breathtaking landmarks in the world and I wanted to be able to see it each time when I looked through my window.
Mother’s Day is such a beautiful holiday and a perfect occasion to show love and appreciation to your best friend and a person that loves you unconditionally. It’s our time to pay them some attention and say thank you for always being there for me. My Mom even got herself an Instagram account to support me and I thought it was the cutest thing ever.
Happy Wednesday guys! It snowing so much today so I’m cuddled up with my warm blanket and cup of tea whilst I write this post. I partnered up with Sennheiser to bring you this post and it about bringing the sound and atmosphere to life with their new Ambeo Smart Headset that records videos with 3D biaural sound.
If you follow me on Instagram you might have noticed that I have been on a Bali food tour all the way from Ubud down to Seminyak, Canggu and the surrounding areas. I’m not going to lie, I was so impressed with the abundance of Instagrammable Bali Food spots that it took me quite some time to get this post live for you guys.
London Fashion Week is my favourite time of the year but at the same time the most hectic. I love it because I get to see the shows and experience the fashion industry in a whole new light. It’s so inspiring to see how much work and creativity goes into creating the collections and show production that I can’t help but feel extremely grateful to be part of it in some way.
With LFW ending, we managed to get a glimpse into some great street styles and current trends as well as new collections to get inspiration for the next season. With me being away travelling, I feel like I neglected my fashion section so I will do my best to bring you guys at least one post per week with new looks. This week I decided to share my current favourite footwear – white boots worn by so many fashionistas during fashion weeks. Continue Reading
After a few days of relaxing and rebalancing in Ubud, it was a time to step it up a notch and travel down to a chic and fashionable Seminyak. We based ourselves at the Elysian where we had another private villa that felt like being at home. Arriving at the Elysian was a great experience in itself especially walking through the green tunnel at its entrance. The open plan reception and a friendly welcome was a great start to our Seminyak experience.
Ubud is for relaxing and taking in as much of positive energy as possible. Another perfect spot to relax and reach a new level of zen is the Fivelements which was designed to help people go through specific transitions or transformations in their life. Continue Reading
After a long few weeks travelling Thailand and Cambodia, I have finally arrived in one of the places that have been on my bucket list for the past 5 years. UBUD. I’ve heard so much about its positive vibe and serenity that I couldn’t wait to find out for myself. I had to pinch myself as soon as I arrived at the Kayumanis, a place where we based ourselves for the next few days.
There are so many things to do in Siem Reap that when you arrive at first you may be pleasantly surprised. A lot of people don’t expect much from Cambodia due to its turbulent history but its so good to see Khmer people moving forward and fast developing their tourism industry. I wanted to pick some of my favourite things that we did in Siem reap, excluding Angor Wat as I dedicated a full post to it here, so I hope you keep on reading.
When it comes to picking one of Siem Reap hotels, Templation really stood out for us. It’s not only due to its Instagram fame that we wanted to stay here but its minimal design and the richness of green vegetation that got our hear. A serene oasis with an exclusive touch.
I have recently returned from Cambodia and a visit to Angor Wat was in no doubt a highlight of my trip. I wanted to in this post share our experience so if you wish to visit yourself, you may find this information useful.
After a good few hours of travelling, we finally arrived at the international airport of Siem Reap. The airport is in full function since 2008 and its one of the busiest airports in Cambodia. It took us an hour to get through the visa queue and exchange some money before a Shinta Mani Angor driver welcomed us in the warmest way.
According to research, almost 57% of Brits regret some of the holidays that they have taken and prefer to visit a destination that they have been to before. As a matter of fact, most of us will go to the same holiday 4 times in our lives to avoid disappointment. Some of this disappointment and lack of excitement comes from fear of the language barrier, cultural differences and even understanding the local currency.
Your visit to Chiang Mai wouldn’t be complete without visiting an Elephant Sanctuary. There are many tours operating on a daily basis and we booked ours via Blue Gecko which was nothing short of an amazing and highly recommended experience.
If you read one my latests post, you will know how much I enjoyed exploring the food scene of Chiang Mai. Since we based our stay in Nimmana, a rather lively area packed with Instagram worthy cafes, bars and restaurant that we enjoyed visiting.
After seeing Lisa and Aggie create the brunch friendship goals photo by the Akyra Manor pool, we knew that we had to visit this amazing place. Also, Akyra Manor was 4 minutes walk from our apartment in Chiang Mai so we decided to go for a late lunch and sunset drinks at their pool. The pool bar is literally so cool although not the biggest so the atmosphere was really nice.
Every time you hear about Koh Phangan, you hear about the Moon Party. The island is known for being a party island but we wanted to visit and have a completely opposite experience away from the rowdy partygoers. We chose to base our stay at the Panviman Resort Koh Phangan located on the steep hillside with the gorgeous views of the Thong Nai Pan Beach. We wanted to extend our time for relaxation so we chose to have another 2 chilled days on the island.
There are so many places to visit in Bangkok especially if you are into photography. We were after a good mix of must-see landmarks to satisfy our touristy cravings and at the same time, Instagram friendly locations that will get those likes up.
After we spent a few days in Bangkok it was a good time for us to soak up some sunshine one of Thailand’s most beautiful islands Koh Samui. We booked a 4 night stay at The Lipa Lodge Resort well known for being a beautiful oasis positioned right on the white sandy beach in the Gulf of Thailand.
